Overview of Four of the Hawaii Islands

Oahu: Fly into Honolulu. Honolulu itself is a big city that offers a lot of shopping, dining and then the beach but it is a large city. For Oahu, I would recommend staying on the north shore of the island and enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, luau and much more. The island of Hawaii is energizing. Swim the warm waters of the world famous Waikiki Beach and hike Diamond Head. Watch surfers on the legendary North Shore and experience fine dining in Waikiki. From cityscapes and shopping to beautiful waterfalls and botanical gardens, you will see why Oahu is the "Gathering Place in Hawaii!

Maui: First time visitors typically will visit this island. With its award winning beaches and scenic natural wonder, it's easy to see why Maui has been voted "Best Island" for 17 years by readers of Conde Nast Traveler. Marvel at the 141 year old banyan tree in Lahaina, stroll along lovely Ka'anapali Beach and watch the sunrise from Haleakala. Even the humpback whales return every year to this "Magical Island" because "Maui no ka oi", which means, "Maui is the Best"

Big Island of Hawaii: if you want to see an active volcano, then this is the island! The largest and youngest of the Hawaiian island, the Hawaii island is still growing. Home of the world's most active volcano and tallest sea mountain (Mauna Kea), this unique island offers all but two of the world's climate zones. Tour a coffee plantation, visit historic Kailua-Kona town or visit lush rainforests and majestic waterfalls. You will find the "Big Island" inspiring.

Kauai: the “Garden Island” Full of lush mountains and white sand beaches. A helicopter ride is a must for this island as most of the island can only be seen from the sky. Sail along the Napali Coast and kayak the Wailua river on this "Island of Discovery". Witness the breathtaking vistas of Waimea Canyon, the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific" or relax on 50 miles of heavenly beaches. Kauai is rejuvenating for both mind and body!
