Planning that Magical Disneyland Vacation
Disneyland is one of my favorite Disney Destinations! The resorts, Downtown Disney District, and the two theme parks, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, have a very nostalgic vibe are sure to sprinkle you with Pixie Dust throughout your visit! So let’s get started on how to prepare for your whimsical Disneyland vacation!
Pick Your Dates!
March through May and September through October will typically see the best weather conditions. Summertime and holidays tend to see the higher crowd levels.
Which Resort Fits Your Travel Style?
Great question, right? Disneyland offers three amazing hotels and the hard part is deciding which one is right for your vacation! First, I have to note that all three are within close proximity of the Downtown Disney District and the two theme parks, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. All three resorts offer A Magical Night at the Movies.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a beautiful resort full of charm and has its very own entrance into Disney California Adventure Park! Themed pools with a waterslide, spa, fitness center, and award-winning dining options are just a few highlights of this stunning resort! Napa Rose is a “must visit for wine connoisseurs” when visiting this magnificent resort! Best of all, you have access to your own special theme park entrance into Disney California Adventure Park and Downtown Disney District! (valid theme park admission required) I recommend this resort for clients wanting a luxury experience with some added benefits. This resort has recreation that kids of all ages will enjoy!
Disneyland Hotel is very whimsical and you will love the nostalgic feel with the light-up Sleeping Beauty Castle headboards and the Monorail slide at the pool! You can see Walt’s love and vision in the details at this resort! This resort offers early morning power walks, fitness center, spa, and some of my favorite dining options located at Disneyland Hotel! Those include Steakhouse 55, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, and Goofy’s Kitchen (character dining). Characters make appearances at the Disneyland Hotel and are not scheduled so be on the lookout! This resort is one I would recommend for Disney enthusiasts, families with kids of all ages, and first time visits!
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel brings the love of California beachfront boardwalks to the heart of Disneyland! This resort offers a rooftop pool terrace located on the third floor. On select nights, they pipe in the sound from the Disneyland Park fireworks show and you can enjoy it all while lounging by the pool! A worthy mention for the little ones is the Paradise Theater, which offers beach chairs and entertainment on the sandcastle television. From character dining at Disney’s PCH Grill, early morning powerwalks, fitness center, and close proximity to the Downtown Disney District, you can see why this is a family favorite when visiting Disneyland! I would recommend this resort for families wanting a fun experience on a budget.
